SEO Services for Hotels in London
Every booking that arrives through an online travel agent costs you commission. Hotel SEO is the slow, compounding work of taking some of those bookings back, and of making sure the guest who already knows your name does not end up booking you through someone else.

How your customers search
What search looks like in your sector
Guests search by area and by landmark far more than by hotel name: hotels near Canary Wharf, somewhere near the O2, a quiet hotel in Bloomsbury. Those searches are where travel agents sit above you.
The second journey is the valuable one. Someone has heard of you, searches your name, and lands on a travel agent's page because it outranks yours. Winning your own brand search is usually the fastest money in hotel SEO.
Searches we would go after for you
- hotels near [landmark] London
- boutique hotel [area] London
- [hotel name] official site
- wedding venue [area] London
Examples, not a finished list. The real one comes out of your site, your margins and what your competitors already hold.
The work
What we actually do
Every engagement starts with an audit, so this list gets reordered once we have seen your site. Nothing here is theoretical.
- 01
Brand search recovery
Making your own site the first result for your hotel name, ahead of the travel agents and the directories.
- 02
Area and landmark pages
Genuine guides to your neighbourhood and what is near you, which is what guests are actually searching.
- 03
Room and rate pages
Individual pages for room types and packages, written to convert rather than to describe.
- 04
Google listing work
Business Profile, photos, attributes, and checking what it takes to show in free booking links for your property.
- 05
Booking funnel measurement
Tracking from landing page through to the booking engine, so you can see where guests drop out.
Before you start
What the results page looks like today
Hotel SEO pages that rank tend to be built around one promise: fewer bookings through the travel agents, more direct. The better ones cover AI assistants and schema. Very few explain Google's free booking links or what happens when your booking engine sits on someone else's domain, which is usually where the direct conversion is actually lost.
We would rather tell you which positions are realistic now than sell you a target we both know is years away.

FAQs
Hotels SEO: common questions
If yours is not answered here, email us and we will reply properly.
Will SEO actually reduce our commission bill?
It can, slowly, by moving some bookings direct. It will not replace the travel agents, and we would be careful of anyone who says it will. They bring demand you cannot reach on your own. The realistic goal is shifting a share of the guests who were already going to choose you.
How long before we see direct bookings move?
Published vendor guidance ranges from a few months to a year, and that spread is honest, because it depends on your brand strength and your market. Brand search fixes are the fastest part, often within weeks.
Do we still need Google Hotel Ads?
Usually yes, alongside. Free booking links and paid hotel ads sit in different parts of the same results. We will look at what your property qualifies for rather than guessing.
Is there special hotel markup for Google?
Not in the way it is often sold. We could not find Google documentation for a dedicated hotel rich result, so we use the structured data that is documented and spend the rest of the effort on things that demonstrably work.
Our booking engine is third-party. Does that matter?
It matters a lot for conversion and for measurement. We set up tracking across the handover so you can see whether the drop-off is your page or the engine.
