SEO Services for NGOs and Charities in Dubai
In the UK a charity can publish a donate button on its first day. In Dubai you may not solicit donations at all without prior written approval, and your fundraising materials must carry the permit details. This page had to be written from scratch rather than adapted.

Arabic or English
Which language your market actually buys in
بالعربية والإنجليزية
The one sector on this site where Arabic should lead rather than follow. Zakat, sadaqah, waqf and iftar sponsorship intent is Arabic-first and religiously framed, and Arabic also tends to serve trust-led and government-adjacent queries better. If you only build one language properly here, there is a real argument it should be Arabic.
We test both at small scale before committing you to a double content budget. Arabic is written by Arabic speakers, never run through a translation tool.
How your customers search
What search looks like in your sector
Giving here is religiously framed and seasonal. Zakat calculators, sadaqah, sponsor a child, donate an iftar meal, volunteer opportunities. Treat these as indicative starting points rather than verified demand, because we would want to validate them against your own data before building.
The seasonality is the structural fact. Ramadan, and particularly its final ten nights, plus the two Eids, carry the year. A content calendar fixed to January to December drifts out of step by roughly eleven days every year.
Content is planned around the prohibition on soliciting donations without prior written approval, the requirement that fundraising materials display the permit number and authority logo, and the reporting obligation afterwards. Where we could not verify a rule or a figure, including the current regulator naming for non-Islamic charities, this page says so rather than guessing.
Searches we would go after for you
- zakat calculator UAE
- donate iftar meal Dubai
- sponsor a child UAE
- volunteer opportunities Dubai
- sadaqah donation UAE
Examples, not a finished list. The real one comes out of your site, your margins and what your competitors already hold.
The work
What we actually do
Every engagement starts with an audit, so this list gets reordered once we have seen your site. Nothing here is theoretical.
- 01
Permit-aware site structure
Donation pages and templates built to carry permit details, with a campaign structure that can be switched on when approval lands and off when it expires.
- 02
Arabic-first content
Written by Arabic speakers with right-to-left layout, because this is the sector where the Arabic version is the primary one.
- 03
Awareness, volunteering and education content
The traffic you can build without a fundraising permit in place: zakat education, cause explainers, volunteering and transparency.
- 04
Hijri campaign calendar
A plan built around Ramadan and the two Eids, with assets ready in advance rather than produced during the season.

An honest Ad Grants assessment
We will check your eligibility properly and tell you the answer, including if the answer is that we cannot confirm it.
Before you start
What the results page looks like today
There is one real Dubai competitor page for this, and it has a near-identical clone for another country with the city name swapped. That is precisely the failure we built these pages to avoid. Its Google Ad Grants page states a monthly figure with no mention of whether the programme's products are available to a UAE charity at all.
We would rather tell you which positions are realistic now than sell you a target we both know is years away.

What you can check before you hire us
Our Middle East office is in Al Murar, Deira. The points on this page come from working on ngos and charities sites in this market, where the same problems keep appearing: Arabic pages produced by translation tools, listings that outrank the business they list, and licensing details nobody can find.

FAQs
NGOs and Charities SEO in Dubai: common questions
If yours is not answered here, email us and we will reply properly, in English or Arabic.
Do we need a permit before we can ask for donations online?
Yes. Raising donations in Dubai without prior written approval is prohibited, and that covers online collection like any other method. We build the site so it is ready to run a permitted campaign, and so it is not quietly soliciting while you wait.
Can a UAE charity get Google Ad Grants?
The honest answer is that we cannot confirm it from Google's own documentation. The UAE is on the launched country list for the nonprofits programme, but product availability is not stated per country and the verification step points to registers that may not cover you. We will check your specific case rather than assert either way.
What has to appear on our fundraising pages?
The permit number, the authority's logo, and a statement that the authority issued the permit, with the amounts raised reported back afterwards. We build that into the template so it cannot be forgotten on a new campaign page.
We are a foreign NGO with a Dubai office. Can we run a donate button?
Not without approval, and international bodies are reported to need a second approval as well. Donations may also need to be raised through a licensed local entity, which can take an administrative share. This is worth taking legal advice on before any campaign is designed.
Should our site be Arabic first?
For this sector, yes, more so than any other we work in. Zakat and sadaqah intent is Arabic-led and the audience expects it. English second, properly done, rather than the other way round.
